We love to give you our best offers at a time that suits you. So just let us know when your home insurance is due for renewal and we'll enter you into our prize draw to win free British Gas Home Insurance policy up to a value of £500.

If you're one of our lucky winners, we'll let you know via email on the last day of the month. And if you've already taken out British Gas Home Insurance by then, we'll give you a full refund of your premium.

But if you need to take out a new British Gas Home Insurance policy today, don't worry – you'll still be eligible to win our prize draw up to three months after your policy start date. We'll just refund what you've already paid.

We'll choose one lucky winner at random every month. One entry per customer. No purchase necessary.

Are you eligible to enter the competition?

You can enter if

  • You're a British Gas customer, but you don't have home insurance with us. Offer excludes British Gas and Hive customers
  • You have home insurance with another insurer and you know your renewal month
  • You're over 18
  • You own and live at the property. Excludes any properties you rent out
  • You haven't already told us your home insurance renewal date

If you win, but you aren't eligible or we're unable to cover you, we'll send you £150 refund by cheque.

This prize draw is open to British Gas energy and services customers only, who do not have a current British Gas Home Insurance policy.
